Tour Itinerary

Day 0:Arrival Day

When your flight arrives at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Rauforest Adventure will be waiting to transport you to Moshi. The city boasts one of the best views in the world, with front-row seats to Mount Kilimanjaro. Moshi is also home to pleasant tree-lined streets, bustling marketplaces, and your own first-rate accommodations for tonight: the Rauforest Villa . After getting checked in, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the environment grounds, going for , dining at the hotel restaurant, or even exploring the city. Tomorrow we’ll begin our safari in earnest, so make sure to get plenty of sleep.

Day 1:Tarangire National Park

Today your safari adventure begins with airport pick up or Hotel pick up after breakfast at your hotel and drive for 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle, you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna, and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe. After a full day in the park, you will drive to your lodge where you will be able to relax and enjoy dinner and have an overnight.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Day: 2 | Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, proceed to Serengeti National Park for a game drive with picnic lunches. A million wildebeest, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: A frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 miles) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north; Replenishing the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 miles) pilgrimage begins again.

Day: 3 | Serengeti National Park

Today we will spend the whole day in the park. We head out and start to explore at sunrise, we will have a full day game drive exploring the beautiful scenery of Serengeti, searching for the big five. We will then serve lunch at camp and then head out for an afternoon drive. There is more to Serengeti than large mammals. Gaudy agama lizards and rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite koppies.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater

Today you will wake up very early in the morning for a sunrise game drive. The sunrise in the African Savanna is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. Later at noon, you will return back to the campsite for a brunch/lunch and then you will continue with the game on a route while driving to Simba campsite in Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Luxury Accommodation: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge (opulent suites with crater views) or The Manor at Ngorongoro (colonial-style luxury).
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour → Lake Manyara

descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a 5 hours game viewing. The Crater (covering a total area of 100 square miles) is host to black rhino, Lion, Elephant, hippopotamus, hyena, jackal, Zebra, and Wildebeest. Enjoy 10 minutes of stretching outside the safari vehicle at the hippo pool before ascending the crater wall back to the campsite for hot lunch.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 6: Lake Manyara → Moshi / Departure

After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your accommodation and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. On your exploration of the park, you will see monkeys, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs. After the game drive, you will return to Arusha where your safari ends.
