Day 0:Arrival Day

 When your flight arrives at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Rauforest Adventure will be waiting to transport you to Moshi. The city boasts one of the best views in the world, with front-row seats to Mount Kilimanjaro. Moshi is also home to pleasant tree-lined streets, bustling marketplaces, and your own first-rate accommodations for tonight: the Rauforest Villa. After getting checked in, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the lovely grounds,  dining at the hotel restaurant, or even exploring the city. Tomorrow we’ll begin our ascent of Kilimanjaro in earnest, so make sure to get plenty of sleep.

Day1:Marangu Gate (1,860m) → Mandara Hut (2,715m)

    • Drive from Moshi to Marangu Gate (1,860m) for registration.

    • Begin trekking through lush rainforest with chances to see monkeys and exotic birds.

    • Reach Mandara Hut for overnight stay.

  • Accommodation: Mandara Hut (shared dormitory-style).

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2:Mandara Hut (2,715m) → Horombo Hut (3,720m)

    • Trek through rainforest into moorland with giant heather plants.

    • Views of Kibo & Mawenzi peaks on a clear day.

    • Arrive at Horombo Hut for acclimatization.

        • Continue to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – the highest point in Africa!

        • Descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest, then continue to Horombo Hut.

      • Accommodation: Horombo Hut.

      • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 6: Horombo Hut (3,720m) → Marangu Gate (1,860m) → Moshi

        • Descend through rainforest back to Marangu Gate.

        • Receive summit certificates (Gold for Uhuru Peak, Green for Gilman’s Point).

        • Transfer to Moshi/Arusha for celebration and rest.

      • Accommodation: Hotel.

      • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
